24/7 Wall St.’s List of 10 Brands to Disappear in 2014

Vienna on May 29, 2013

At 1030 Innovation Consulting, we love to watch how the world around us constantly changes. Which companies excel, and also which don’t. There is always something to learn in every brand’s story…

This week, we therefore took a close look at 24/7 Wall St.’s annual list of 10 US brands whose story may end this year.

While in some industries (i.e. magazines, automobiles) this was to expect, recent success stories of startups and consumer electronics also surprisingly ended up on the list.

But see for yourself, here are the 10 brands predicted to not survive 2013:

  1. J.C. Penney
  2. Nook
  3. Martha Stewart Living Magazine
  4. LivingSocial
  5. Volvo
  6. Olympus
  7. WNBA
  8. Leap Wireless
  9. Mitsubishi Motors
  10. 10. Road & Track Magazine
